The pursuit of making photographs evokes an idea of permanence, leaving a trail, forming some kind of recognizable body. The experience of these artifacts may only be fleeting with little memory attached. The process allows me to gauge light, investigate details, shape what has been cooked, and assemble thematic essays.

New York City, my hometown metropolis, never ceases to provoke curiosity.
